Investment in AEON Mall Hai Duong dealt

Hai Duong leaders and representatives of Japan’s AEON Group witness the signing ceremony of cooperation on investment between AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Tuan Kiet HD Trading and Services JSC.

AEON Mall Hai Duong is the 60th Japanese project and the first trade and service one in Hai Duong, said Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trieu The Hung.

Hung was speaking at the signing ceremony of cooperation on investment in the project between AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Tuan Kiet HD Trading and Services JSC. on March 3.

The chairman highly appreciated Japan’s AEON Group in implementing projects. This is a large retailer which has invested in many countries, including Vietnam with a lot of reputable shopping malls.

Before the AEON Mall Hai Duong project, there were 59 investment ones from Japan with a total registered capital of over 1.4 billion USD, ranking second in the number of projects and investment among countries investing in the province.

All Japanese projects in Hai Duong were quickly deployed, stably and effectively operated, and complied with legal provisions, making an important contribution to the provincial socio-economic development.

Therefore, Hung expected the group to accelerate the implementation process to soon put AEON Mall Hai Duong into operation to serve people’s needs for shopping and entertainment.

“Hai Duong authorities are ready to accompany and create favorable conditions for the investor to carry out the project,” said Hung.

AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Tuan Kiet HD Trading and Services JSC. thanked Hai Duong leaders and departments for facilitation of their research and formation of the project in Hai Duong.

They pledged to carry out and put the project into operation on schedule.

Earlier, the provincial People’s Committee and AEON Mall Vietnam Co., Ltd. had a meeting and signed a memorandum of understanding on preparing steps for project execution on December 9, 2022.
