The People's Council of Hai Duong province has approved the restoration of Con Son stream in Chi Linh city with more than 45 billion VND from the provincial budget.
The project includes the construction of a water supply system and reinforced concrete dams, repair of the stream bed, renovation of water barriers, etc. to ensure a flow of 100 – 120 l/second, equivalent to 360 – 432 m3/h.
The provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the investor, will carry out the project in 2024 and 2025.
The Con Son stream restoration project aims to preserve the natural landscape, popularize the value of the relic, exploit tourism potential and resources, create unique tourism products, attract tourists, contribute to educating historical and cultural traditions, etc.
