Hai Duong gives nod to 958 billion VND component manufacturing project

Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province Trieu The Hung hands over an investment license to Pegasus Vietnam Sewing Machine Co., Ltd.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province Trieu The Hung has handed over an investment license to Pegasus Vietnam Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. for its project to manufacture, process, and assemble sewing machine components with a total investment of 958 billion VND.

The ceremony was part of a conference on the implementation of the Government’s Action Program to realize the Politburo’s Resolution on socio-economic development and defence and security assurance in the Red River Delta and promotion of regional investment, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 12 morning in Quang Ninh province.

Pegasus Vietnam Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. is a wholly Japanese-invested company specializing in manufacturing highly precise sewing machines in Tan Truong industrial park, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province.

The company’s new project is an addition to the existing 60 projects from Japan in Hai Duong with a total investment of nearly 1.5 billion USD.

Hai Duong authorities realized that Japanese investors are very suitable to the province’s orientation of attracting investment. Therefore, the provincial authorities are focusing on improving the investment environment and preparing the best conditions in terms of infrastructure of industrial parks, accommodation, and quality services for Japanese investors.
