Hai Duong College has been merged into Hai Duong University.
It was stated in Decision No. 448/QD-TTg signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on April 27 on behalf of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The decision took effect on the date of signing.
The Prime Minister assigned the People’s Committee of Hai Duong province to direct the two schools and relevant bodies to carry out the mergence according to regulations.
He also required ministries, ministerial-level agencies, heads of the Government’s bodies, the chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, principals of the two schools, agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned to take responsibility for the mergence.
Earlier, the provincial People’s Committee submitted a project to merge Hai Duong College and Hai Duong University to the Ministry of Education and Training for appraisal and submission to the Prime Minister.
