Hai Duong athletes secure five golds at SEA Games 32

Hai Duong athletes have won five gold, two silver, and four bronze medals for Vietnam at SEA Games 32.

Hai Duong athletes had won five gold, two silver, and four bronze medals for Vietnam at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) by 6 am on May 15.

Diver Pham Thi Thu pocketed two individual and one team gold medals and broke a SEA Games record.

Le Thanh Van grabbed another gold medal in diving.

The last gold was secured by Chau Dai Duong, Nguyen Van Cuong, Pham Hong Quan, and his teammates in traditional boat racing.

Fencing and weightlifting are potential sources of other gold medals for Hai Duong athletes, according to the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

Fencer Pham Thi Ngoc Luyen will enter competitions today (May 15), and weightlifter Tran Dinh Thang tomorrow.
