Gold prices evaporate 1.2 million VND/ tael on Jul 18

Compared to two hours earlier, both buying and selling prices of SJC gold rose by over 1 million VND/ tael.

However, compared to the early morning of the same day, gold prices evaporated about 1.2 million VND/ tael.

Compared to last week's transaction (on July 16), buying and selling prices of SJC gold dropped by 3.25 and 2.8 million VND per tael, respectively.

In the context of strong fluctuations of gold prices in the past few days, the USD exchange rate recorded a new increase.

On July 18, the State Bank applied the central rate at 23,245 VND/ USD, up 20 VND/ USD over July 16 and 75 VND/ USD over one week ago (July 11).
