The extended Dai An industrial park has so far drawn 47 secondary investors.
The extended Dai An industrial park (IP) in Hai Duong province has attracted two secondary projects with large investments.
One project belongs to Sunshine Vietnam Co., Ltd., a wholly Singaporean-invested company.
The investor will build an outdoor furniture factory with a budget of 60 million USD and production scale of 6 million outdoor furniture products and 1 million thermos cups each year.
The company targets an annual revenue of about 80 million USD.
The other project is to construct a factory with 30 million USD. The investor, New Star Co., Ltd. from the US, plans to annually assemble 40,000 off-road motorbikes; 1,000 golf carts and electric vehicles; and 10,000 bicycles.
The firm’s expected revenue is 50 million USD/year.
These projects will be built in 2025.
The extended Dai An IP, covering more than 410 ha, is under phase 2 construction. More than 85% of phase 1, 189.02 ha in area, has been filled.
The IP has so far drawn 47 secondary investors, with an overall occupancy rate of nearly 50%.
From the beginning of the year to December 10, the provincial IPs Authority licensed 50 foreign direct investment projects with a total registered of about 410 million USD, and approved the addition of approximately 270 million USD to 32 existing projects.
