Bach Dang pedestrian and night market zone to open on Apr 28 night

80 engineers and workers continuously work to prepare for a “party of light” in the Bach Dang pedestrian and night market zone

Hai Duong city authorities will kick off a pedestrian and night market zone around the city’s Bach Dang street at 7.30 pm tonight (April 28).

This is the first pedestrian street of Hai Duong province to be opened right on the occasion of Hung Kings Commemoration Day, National Reunification Day, and May Day.

The opening ceremony is expected to be a “party of light” with the thorough idea being “Convergence of quintessence – brightening Hai Duong city”.

The surface of the Sat river will be the stage of special light art performances according to four supernatural creatures of dragon, kylin, turtle, and phoenix.

Products shaped by LED, super LED, and laser lights were separately ordered, according to the construction unit. Lights at lotus clusters alone are the first of their kind in Vietnam.

People can take a stroll around kiosks of traditional food and OCOP products and enjoy cultural and artistic activities in the Bach Dang pedestrian and night market zone.

Particularly, a musical show on the opening night will feature famous singers Anh Tho and Duong Hoang Yen and host Hanh Phuc from the Vietnam Television.
