2023 Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival to have many new features

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Board of the Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival, orders propaganda of all spring festivals in the province, considering this an important opportunity to promote the image of Hai Duong

The Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival will be organized on a provincial scale. An incense offering ceremony for festival opening and a sacrifice ceremony will take place on January 31, 2023 (i.e. the 10th day of the 1st lunar month), and cultural and musical activities from February 5 – 8, 2023.

A new feature of the 2023 festival is the organization of a Culture and Tourism Week in the Con Son experience area.

As planned, during the week, products of trade villages and traditional farm produce will be displayed to introduce products of units inside and outside the province.

Besides cultural and musical activities of units in the province, delegates from South Korea’s Suwon city and Japan’s Kagoshima prefecture, two localities twinned with Hai Duong, will be invited to participate in the cultural week.
