This is the first time Hai Duong people have had access to a series of photos of Truong Sa archipelago through an exhibition.

The Hai Duong Literature and Arts Association opened a photo exhibition themed “Peaceful Truong Sa” at the Exhibition House at 109 Pham Ngu Lao street, Hai Duong city on December 5.
100 photos of Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago taken by photographer Hoang Hiep are being displayed at the exhibition, making a strong impression on the audience for their artistry and authenticity.

This is the first time Hai Duong people have had access to a series of photos of the archipelago through an exhibition.
They truly reflect daily life and clearly portray silent sacrifices of officers and soldiers in Truong Sa to protect the national sovereignty over sea and islands.

Hoang Hiep took the photos last May during a trip to Da Nam, Da Thi, Da Tay, Sinh Ton, An Bang, and Truong Sa Lon islands and DK1/19 platform with a delegation of the Navy High Command.
He was awarded a medal in recognition of his achievements in defending the national sovereignty by the command after the journey.

Photographer Hoang Hiep have put some typical photos at the exhibition up to auction and will donate all proceeds to charity.
He will also present his photo book “Peaceful Truong Sa” to the provincial Museum and Library and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

Hoang Hiep has won one silver and one bronze of the Red River Delta Artistic Photo Contest and two first prizes of the provincial Topical and Artistic Photo Contest.
This is his second solo exhibition, which is open until December 10.
