Vietcombank donates 10 billion VND to educational work building in Hai Duong

Vietcombank has donated 10 billion VND to Tan Binh Junior High School in Hai Duong city and Thanh Tung Kindergarten in Thanh Mien district.

On the morning of June 15, the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training held a sponsorship handover ceremony for the construction of educational facilities funded by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank).

Speaking at the event on behalf of the provincial leadership, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang congratulated Vietcombank on its strong development both domestically and internationally.

Thang also expressed sincere gratitude to the bank for its continued support for Hai Duong’s education sector in particular and its social welfare programs in general.

The province pledged to direct relevant agencies to use the donated funds properly, efficiently, and economically to maximize benefits for the development of education in Hai Duong, particularly for beneficiary schools.

Over the past five years, Vietcombank has contributed approximately 63 billion VND to social welfare programs in Hai Duong province, with the majority allocated to education.

This time, 10 billion VND donated by the bank will be used for Tan Binh Junior High School in Hai Duong city and Thanh Tung Kindergarten in Thanh Mien district.
