The forecast path of storm Wutip

If storm Wutip continues to move as predicted, it will likely bring rainfall only over the sea and coastal provinces and cities, particularly the Central region, according to a representative of the Hai Duong provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

The storm is forecast to result in widespread heat, with a very low likelihood of rain, in Hai Duong province.

The reason is that the strong wind field on the western edge of the storm's circulation is drawing all the moisture from inland areas, leading to hot and dry conditions.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that on June 14 and 15, many areas in Hai Duong will experience hot weather, with peak temperatures ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius. The heatwave is expected to begin on June 13.

According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, storm Wutip is currently moving slowly in a west-northwesterly direction at a speed of about 10 – 15 km/h.

By 7 am on June 13, the storm center is expected to be at approximately 18.2 degrees north latitude and 109.8 degrees east longitude, near the southern part of Hainan Island (China).
