Defining immediate tasks to ensure effective and seamless operation of new commune-level government in Hai Duong
Chairman of the Hai Duong provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu emphasized the need for a detailed plan with a clear roadmap and immediate tasks to ensure effective operation of the new commune-level government model.
The 17th People's Council of Hai Duong province convened its 31st session at the Xu Dong Cultural Center on the afternoon of June 10.
In his closing remarks, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu highlighted that the resolutions passed at the session are of great importance for reorganizing the administrative apparatus and promoting the local socio-economic development.
Party committees and authorities at all levels must continue to lead communication and advocacy efforts to build public consensus on the restructuring of administrative units.
It is essential to ensure strong political and ideological work and to enhance the sense of responsibility among public officials, civil servants, and staff in fulfilling their duties.
At the same time, attention must be paid to policies for those affected by reassignment, transfer, or retirement, creating the most favorable conditions for them to continue contributing to their organizations and to society.
Chairman Le Van Hieu noted the need for a concrete plan that clearly defines the roadmap and tasks to be implemented immediately, in line with the Central government's direction, to ensure the new commune-level government model operates smoothly and effectively. Administrative procedures must be promptly reviewed and adjusted, and internal workflows must be redesigned to match the new organizational structure.
The provincial People’s Council, People's Committee, and relevant departments should actively coordinate with their counterparts in Hai Phong city to jointly review and evaluate the policies of both localities to urgently propose solutions to inconsistencies, particularly focusing on timely issuance of policies directly affecting people's lives, including benefits for national contributors, social protection beneficiaries, and the operation of local government bodies, ensuring uniformity and the highest degree of effectiveness.
Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Le Van Hieu expressed confidence that with solidarity, consensus, and strong determination, Hai Duong will accomplish and exceed its goals to further develop the homeland and the nation.
