Main-season Thanh Ha lychees priced at 35,000 VND per kilogram
Thanh Ha lychees have begun their main harvest season, selling at 35,000 VND per kilogram.
Main-season lychees in Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province have started to be harvested in small quantities and sold for 35,000 VND/ kg, roughly the same as this time last year, according to many local farmers.
Main-season lychees cover a total area of over 1,200 ha in Thanh Ha, concentrated in the communes of Thanh Son, Thanh Tan, Thanh Xuan, and Thanh Ha township. This year’s main-season lychee yield is estimated at around 18,000 tons.
Main-season Thanh Ha lychees are known for having the best flavor and are the latest to be harvested among all lychee crops.
