Proposal for approval of planning task for four industrial parks

Four industrial parks will be built in Hai Duong province with synchronous, modern technical infrastructure and convenient public social works.

The Economic and Budget Board of the Hai Duong provincial People's Council held a working session with the Department of Construction on the afternoon of June 5 regarding proposals to approve the task of planning construction zones at a 1/2,000 scale for the industrial parks of Thanh Mien 2, Tu Ky 1, Binh Giang 3, and Binh Giang 4.

The surveyed area for Thanh Mien 2 industrial park lies within the administrative boundaries of Doan Ket and Le Hong communes of Thanh Mien district, covering approximately 220 ha, including about 200 ha designated for the industrial park itself and 20 ha for infrastructure connectivity. The projected workforce is around 10,300 workers.

The surveyed area for Tu Ky 1 industrial park is located within Hung Dao and Dai Son communes of Tu Ky district, covering around 115.8 ha and expected to employ about 6,000 workers.

Meanwhile, about 197 ha in Binh Xuyen commune, Binh Giang district and around 3 ha in Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district have been surveyed for Binh Giang 3 industrial park. The projected workforce of the industrial park ranges from 14,000 to 20,000 workers.

Binh Giang 4 industrial park will be located in Nhan Quyen and Co Bi communes of Binh Giang district, covering an estimated 196 ha and expected to accommodate around 14,000 workers.

After reviewing reports and justifications, leaders of the provincial People's Council and the Economic and Budget Board generally agreed with the draft proposals and resolutions.

They asked relevant units to continue refining the accompanying documents, adding legal grounds, and clarifying certain points.

The revised drafts will be submitted at the 31st session of the provincial People's Council, scheduled for the afternoon of June 10.
