Kinh Mon accelerates site clearance for three major projects
The authorities of Kinh Mon town in Hai Duong province are urgently accelerating site clearance for three major projects that connect the locality with Hai Phong city and the province’s Chi Linh city.

Striving to complete site clearance before June 30
Kinh Mon town authorities are focusing on site clearance for three major projects in the locality, with the completion rate reaching 90%.
Specifically, 501 out of 624 households have been compensated with a total of more than 84 billion VND to carry out the project to build a route linking national highway 17B’s section in Hai Duong province and provincial road 352 in Hai Phong city.
206 out of 316 households were given over 71 billion VND as compensation for the project to construct a route and Van bridge connecting national highway 37’s section in Chi Linh city and the approach of Trieu bridge in Kinh Mon town.
As for the last project to build a road connecting national highway 17B and Dinh bridge, Kinh Mon town authorities compensated 213 out of 277 households with more than 32 billion VND.

These three projects are key works of the province, playing a vital role in connecting Kinh Mon town with surrounding areas, reducing travel time, facilitating the transportation of goods and passengers, and promoting socio-economic development in Kinh Mon in particular and Hai Duong province in general.
Thus, the completion of site clearance for timely handover to investors is considered a core political task of the town.
These are also three of 10 provincial projects that require expedited site clearance for construction and disbursement of public investment in line with the growth scenario for the second quarter of 2025 planned by the provincial People’s Committee.
The town People’s Committee aims to complete site clearance for all three projects before June 30.
Overcoming difficulties
The town Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council and the People’s Committees of the communes and wards whose land was recovered encountered numerous difficulties during site clearance.

The primary challenge was a lack of public consensus on compensation and support levels. In some cases, it was difficult to determine land ownership due to disputes arising from sales or transfers, or incomplete documentation related to authorization or inheritance.
At the same time, the town was clearing land for many other key projects of the locality and the province, leading to difficulties in assigning sufficient personnel for site clearance.
Recognizing the importance of public communication, the town departments and organizations worked closely with the Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council and the local People’s Committees to develop propagation plans aligned with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, emphasizing the purpose, significance, and benefits of the projects, as well as compensation and support policies.
In the coming time, the town Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council and local People’s Committees will continue to hold dialogues, persuade and guide citizens, with the goal of passing compensation and support plans no later than May 23.
