A strong cold wave is forecast to hit Hai Duong province from tonight.
Hai Duong province will be affected by a new cold wave from tonight (November 25), along with the occurrence of light rain in several areas in the locality, forecast the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
The weather in the province is predicted to turn cold, cloudy, and rainy from November 27 as cold air becomes stronger, making temperature bottom out at 16 degrees Celsius and unable to be higher than 23 degrees Celsius.
Cold air is expected to weaken in the next days, from November 29 to December 4, bringing sunshine and no rain to the province.
Temperature will slightly increase to 18 - 27 degrees Celsius, but it will remain cold at night and early in the morning.
During the sunny days, little rain and low humidity may cause air pollution that can affect people's health and pose a risk of fires in forests as well as residential areas.
