The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has approved a project to lengthen ring road I in Hai Duong city, from Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard to the extended Dai An industrial park.
The route’s starting point will intersect with Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard at km1+673 in Lien Hong commune, Hai Duong city, and its ending point will be adjacent to the Kim Son river in Thong Nhat commune, Gia Loc district.
The section will be built from 2024 to 2027 with a length of about 3.65 km and an investment of 436.3 billion VND from the provincial budget.
The project aims to take another step in completing the city’s ring road I as planned, meet transportation needs, expand urban space, and link Hai Duong city with neighboring districts, contributing to the socio-economic development of the city and Hai Duong province as a whole.
Previously, part of ring road I, spanning 5.67 km across Hai Duong city’s communes and wards of Lien Hong, Thach Khoi, Tan Hung, Gia Xuyen, and Ngoc Son, was built with a budget of nearly 886 billion VND and named Vo Van Kiet Boulevard on August 28.
The 42 m wide route connects Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard and provincial road 391 in Ngoc Son commune.
