Hai Duong braces for new cold wave
The current dry weather in Hai Duong province will soon be replaced by a new cold wave.
The weather in Hai Duong province today will remain rainless, sunny by day, and cool by night due to the influence of a weak continental high pressure area, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
Cold air combined with high-altitude wind convergence is likely to affect the province around October 15 – 16, causing scattered showers and northeast winds at level 2 or 3.
As the cold air becomes stable on the following days, it will be cloudy and sporadically rainy at night but sunny and less cloudy in the daytime, experts forecast.
However, the cold air is predicted to be strengthened on October 20 and 21, resulting in downpours in several areas of the province.
Due to the influence of the cold air, temperature in the province in the coming days will bottom out at 22 – 23 degrees Celsius and peak at 29 – 31 degrees Celsius. Humidity will remain high at around 80 – 90%.
