Bach Dang walking street in Hai Duong city will reopen from the evening of October 12 after several weeks of suspension to address the consequences of Typhoon Yagi, according to the city People's Committee.

It is expected that there will be a lot of interesting cultural and artistic activities on the street upon reopening, such as lion and dragon dance, martial arts and art exchanges, etc.

Especially, Bach Dang walking street will be open for four straight evenings, from October 17 – 20, to mark the 220th founding anniversary of Hai Duong city (1804 – 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the city's Liberation Day (October 30, 1954 – 2024).

Male vendors will wear white shirts and trousers, while female ones will wear ao dai (Vietnam’s traditional long dress), and their booths will be beautifully decorated to serve visitors during these days.

The city’s Tue Tinh food street will also reopen on October 18. Along with culinary business, the street is expected to feature ao dai shows.
