Hai Duong industrial parks lure 40 more FDI projects in nine months
Industrial parks in Hai Duong province attracted 40 more foreign direct investment (FDI) projects worth a total of about 209 million USD in the first nine months of 2024.
The Industrial Parks Authority of Hai Duong province licensed 40 FDI projects with a total registered investment of about 209 million USD in the first nine months of 2024, down 134 million USD year on year.
The authority also approved 10 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with a total registered investment of about 2,332.1 billion VND, a decrease of more than 3,000 billion VND compared to the same period last year.
Besides, some 130 million USD was injected into 24 existing FDI projects and 518.2 billion VND into 11 DDI ones during the period.
In total, the province's industrial parks had drawn 410 secondary investment projects by the end of September 2024, 299 of which have gone into operation, creating jobs for about 108,000 workers inside and outside the province.
