Hai Duong's nine-month State budget revenue exceeds 2024 estimate

Hai Duong province achieved high State budget revenue in the first nine months of 2024 partly thanks to the decent growth of socio-economic development.

Hai Duong province’s State budget revenue in the first nine months of 2024 is estimated at 21,606.7 billion VND, 10% higher than the whole year’s estimate and 58% higher than the same period last year, the provincial Department of Finance reported.

In particular, domestic revenue approximated to 18,671 billion VND, up 10% over the year’s estimate and 62% over the corresponding period in 2023.

Revenue, exclusive of land use fees, lottery, and dividends, is estimated at 11,610 billion VND, meeting 95% of the year’s estimate and up 23% year on year.

Eight out of 16 sources posted higher revenues than expected. Taking the lead was some 7,000 billion VND in revenue from land use fees, exceeding the year’s estimate by 52% and surging by 251% against the same period in 2023.

Coming second was the non-State industrial, commercial, and service sector with a revenue of 2,902 billion VND, 7% higher than the year’s estimate and 46% higher than the same period last year.

Typically, Hoang Thanh Co., Ltd.’s branch in Nam Sach district and Ecopark Hai Duong Investment JSC. contributed 185.4 billion VND and 127.2 billion VND to the budget, respectively.

The above results were achieved thanks to the close and timely direction and management of the provincial authorities.

Besides, the provincial socio-economic development recorded decent growth, with most fields seeing better results than the corresponding period last year, creating resources to ensure the salary reform roadmap, investment in development, social security, security, national defense...
