70% of household customers regain electricity after Typhoon Yagi
Hai Duong Power One Member Co., Ltd. has ensured electricity supply for about 420,000 household customers who suffered power outage due to Typhoon Yagi.
By 4 pm on September 9, Hai Duong Power One Member Co., Ltd. had fixed power supply problems for 113 out of 166 drainage pumping stations in Hai Duong province and brought electricity back to three out of four 110kV substations.
The company’s subordinate units checked and energized low-voltage lines to ensure power supply for about 420,000 household customers, reaching nearly 70%.
The firm has required 12 district-level power subsidiaries to complete plans to supply power for all anti-flooding pumping loads, domestic loads, administrative agencies, schools, etc. for grids to soon operate stably again.
While the provincial 110kV power grid is basically energized safely, 22 and 35kV medium-voltage ones are still being repaired.
Power companies are promptly coordinating with tree management units and local authorities to cut down and remove fallen trees from power lines so as to ensure safe electricity supply for customers.
“We are making every effort to restore power supply for customers as soon as possible. Regarding Chi Linh city and Kinh Mon town that are suffering a lot of damage, we are focusing on direction to provide power as soon as possible,” said Deputy Director of Hai Duong Power One Member Co., Ltd. Pham Hoang Phuong.
