Hai Duong firm donates 10,000 m³ of soil to reinforce dikes against floods

Hung Cuong Trading and Services Co., Ltd. in Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province is the first company to volunteer to assist the locality in flood prevention, Secretary of the district Party Committee Pham Thi Thanh Tam said on September 10.
With the advantage of specializing in producing construction materials, the company has 10 trucks, four excavators, two bulldozers, more than 10,000 m³ of soil, and over 40 workers handy to support the locality with dike reinforcement for flood prevention at any time, according to director of the company Le Manh Cuong.
“Though having suffered severe losses worth tens of billions of VND because of Typhoon Yagi, our company is ready to offer vehicles, human resources, and materials to together with the locality fight floods and ensure people’s safety,” said Cuong.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau praised Cuong’s sense of responsibility for the community.
On this occasion, Chau called on organizations, businesses, and every person in the province to promote the spirit of solidarity and join hands as quickly as possible to prevent floods, overcome consequences of the typhoon, and stabilize people's lives.
