A strong tropical convergence zone is forecast to cover the North Central region from the night of September 8 to September 10, bringing moderate to heavy rain and strong winds to Hai Duong province.
The tropical convergence zone is predicted to gradually weaken in the following days, resulting in scattered showers and thunderstorms in Hai Duong, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
Rain is expected to decrease and only occur in a few places from September 16 to 18.
There is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and gusts of wind during the days of thunderstorms.
