Hai Duong warned of showery nights, hot days
A new heat wave is forecast to start covering Hai Duong province from the middle of next week.
Hai Duong province is forecast to be affected by a compressed depression and aloft wind convergence from April 22 – 24.
The combination is likely to result in scattered thundershowers at night and in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon, with temperature 25 – 33 degrees Celsius, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
The depression is predicted to expand from April 25 – 28, causing rain in some areas, hot days, level 2 southeast wind, and higher temperature, 27 – 36 degrees Celsius.
There is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and guts of winds on days of thunderstorms that can break trees and damage houses.
Meanwhile, parching heat may affect human health and increase the risk of explosions and fires, experts warn.
