Hai Duong city to open Tue Tinh food street on upcoming holiday
The pilot Tue Tinh food street is expected to create a cultural and culinary space, thereby popularizing and selling Hai Duong’s products and specialties.
The People’s Committee of Hai Duong province gave the nod to the building of Tue Tinh food street in Hai Duong city at its meeting on April 10.
The street will have two zones. Sidewalks in zone one, from the intersection of Tue Tinh street and Dien Bien Phu street to Tran Nguyen Han street, will be renovated and divided into lanes for pedestrians.
Investment will be concentrated on the other zone, from the intersection of Tue Tinh street and Tran Nguyen Han street to Ngo Quyen street, to create a highlight.
The pilot Tue Tinh food street will create a cultural and culinary space, thereby popularizing and selling the province’s products and specialties, meeting people’s entertainment needs, attracting tourists, and stimulating consumption, according to the city People’s Committee.
Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban required the city authorities to work out an organization and management plan and create favorable conditions for people and enterprises to do business within the street.
Tue Tinh food street is expected to be open from 6 – 12 pm every Friday and major holiday, starting from the upcoming Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).
