The People's Committee of Hai Duong province held a ceremony on February 19 to grant investment certificates to nine projects of eight businesses.

Besides, Hanin Vietnam Technology Group JSC. proposed a plastic product manufacturing and metal processing project worth 93 billion VND. NK Eco-Plastic Co., Ltd. will carry out a 150 billion VND project to produce and trade plastic packaging. Dai An Industrial Park Infrastructure Development One Member Co., Ltd. will build workshops and offices for rent with a total investment of 249.8 billion VND.
The two remaining projects belong to Extended Phuc Dien Industrial Development Co., Ltd. with the goal of constructing workshops, offices, and warehouses for rent with a total budget of about 1,361 billion VND.
Hai Duong has achieved positive results in attracting investment in recent times, said Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung at the ceremony.
He cited 1.136 billion USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) and 11,675 billion VND in domestic direct investment (DDI) that the province lured in 2023, up 3.1 and 5.6 times over the previous year, respectively.
“Hai Duong has built a master plan for the 2021 – 2030 period with a vision to 2050 and simultaneously commenced the construction of six industrial parks to welcome new investment flows,” said Hung.
Hai Duong will continue to promote investment attraction in the coming time, with priority given to quality and effective projects that have high added value, do not require a lot of land, labor, and resources, but must be associated with environmental protection and sustainable development, Hung added.
