Major destinations in Hai Duong welcome some 277,500 visitors during Tet
Tourism activities in Hai Duong province safely took place this Tet (Lunar New Year) festival without any unexpected incident.
Major relics and tourist attractions in Hai Duong province welcomed more than 277,500 visitors from February 10 – 14 (i.e. the 1st - 5th day of the Lunar New Year).
Among them, more than 120,000 tourists flocked to Con Son – Kiep Bac special national relic site in Chi Linh city.
Some other relics in the city such as Chu Van An, Sinh, Hoa, and Cao An Lac temples received a total of 16,000 visitors.
As many as 60,000 tourists opted for An Phu – Kinh Chu – Nham Duong complex in Kinh Mon provincial town, while Tranh temple in Ninh Giang district was the destination of 40,000 holidaymakers.
Mao Dien Temple of Literature and Xua temple – Giam pagoda – Bia temple complex, two special national relics of Cam Giang district, welcomed nearly 35,000 arrivals.
Dao Co (Stork Island) tourist site in Thanh Mien district also received approximately 6,500 arrivals.
Before and during Tet, the management boards of the relics and tourist attractions strengthened landscape improvement and coordinated with local authorities to ensure security and order, prevent fires and explosions, etc., helping tourism activities in the province safely take place without any unexpected incident.
