Hai Duong Newspaper’s works honored at National Press Awards for two consecutive years
This is the third year the Hai Duong Newspaper has had a prize-winning work at the National Press Awards on Party building.
The Hai Duong Newspaper won an outstanding work prize at a ceremony held in Ha Noi on February 1 to honor winners of the 8th National Press Awards on Party Building - Bua Liem Vang (Golden Hammer and Sickle) in 2023.
The work, presented in the form of an e-magazine by three authors Hoang Bien, Thanh Chung, and Tuan Anh, reflects two typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style.
Those are Nguyen Van Mai and his wife Le Thi Cung in Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province. Both of them joined in the revolution from the early days and are now 75-year Party members.
96 years old, but they still actively participate in Party activities and, along with their family, are shining examples in local movements and activities.
This is the third year the Hai Duong Newspaper has had a prize-winning work at the National Press Awards on Party building, after a C prize in 2022 and a consolation one in 2016.
The provincial Party Committee's Popularization and Education Board was also granted a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in organizing, propagandizing, and responding to the National Press Awards at the ceremony.
This year’s awards recorded the largest number of entries, 2,216. Six A, 12 B, 18 C, six subject, and 30 consolation prizes were presented to 120 outstanding works.
