Thanh Mien launches many traffic projects
Thanh Mien district is actively implementing many traffic projects to synchronize its transport infrastructure system, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
Nine key traffic projects have been being implemented in Thanh Mien district since 2021, according to Bui Trong Thuoc, Head of the district Economic and Infrastructure Division.
Among them, three projects were completed, including the renovation of Binh Xuyen - Ngo Quyen - Tan Trao district road, district road 195’s section from km4+300 - km7+800, and Hong Phong commune road’s section connecting provincial road 392B and Cao Thang - Tien Phong district road, 6.37 km, 3.5 km, and 2.186 km long, respectively.
The renovation of district road 195’s section from km0 - km4+300, the upgrading of provincial road 392B’s section from km0 - km1+700, the renovation and embellishment of Chu Van An road’s section from km0 - km0+550, and the construction of a ring road in the northeast of Thanh Mien district town, 4.3 km, 1.7 km, 0.55 km, and 3.88 km long, respectively, are four ongoing projects.
The district will renovate provincial road 393’s 3.82 km long section from km10+180 - km14+000 with a total budget of 81.1 billion VND in the near future.
Besides, there are two key traffic projects of Hai Duong province passing through Thanh Mien district, namely the construction of the province’s East-West trunk-road and the district’s North-South trunk road.
These roads will help reduce travel time from the southeast area of Hai Duong city to Hung Yen province and link a lot of main routes, such as Ha Noi - Hai Phong and Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressways, national highways 10, 37, and 38B, Hai Duong’s North-South trunk-road…
The completed traffic projects in Thanh Mien district have enhanced regional connectivity and reduced load on roads with high traffic density, contributing to limiting traffic accidents and shortening transport journeys.
The implementation of new projects will help exploit agricultural land on both sides of the routes and motivate the provincial and district socio-economic development.
