Hai Duong earmarks over 1,800 billion VND to build interchange of national highways 5, 17B
An interchange will be built to solve congestion, minimize traffic accidents, and complete a traffic route in Hai Duong province.
The People's Council of Hai Duong province has issued Resolution No. 57/NQ-HDND deciding the construction of an interchange of national highway (NH) 17B, NH 5, and Ha Noi – Hai Phong railway in the province.
The interchange will be built around km 70+069 of NH 5 in Kim Xuyen commune, Kim Thanh district, and Thuong Quan commune, Kinh Mon provincial town.
The project is expected to have a total investment of 1,867 billion VND, including 1,000 billion VND from the Central budget and 867 billion from the provincial budget for public investment in the 2021 – 2025 period.
The project will be carried out from 2023 to 2025.
The interchange construction aims to solve congestion, minimize traffic accidents, and gradually complete a route connecting Ha Noi – Hai Phong expressway, NH 18, traffic infrastructure in Kim Thanh and Kinh Mon, and other traffic systems in the province.
