Phase 1 of extended Dai An industrial park planning adjusted
A service and exhibition center will be built in the extended Dai An industrial park instead of an international hospital.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province Trieu The Hung agreed to the Department of Construction’s proposal to locally adjust phase 1 of the extended Dai An industrial park (IP) planning for the second time.
Hung made the remark to conclude the 4th regular August meeting of the provincial People’s Committee on August 24.
A 1/2,000 blueprint for the extended Dai An IP was approved in 2006 by the provincial People’s Committee, reported Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Van Doan.
The provincial People’s Committee approved amendments to phase 1 of the planning for the first time in 2014, including the turning of lot CC2 from service and exhibition land into international hospital one.
However, Dai An IP Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd., the IP investor, failed to start construction there as planned.
The Government Inspectorate on March 31, 2023 concluded that an international hospital could not be built in the lot as approved.
As a result, the Department of Construction proposed the provincial People’s Committee advocate the returning of lot CC2 back to service and exhibition land and supplementation of some planning criteria for the lot (construction density, height, land use coefficient, construction boundary…) in compliance with regulations.
