President Vo Van Thuong and his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Chu Dau Ceramics JSC. in Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province on August 22.
The Vietnamese and Kazakh Presidents were impressed by the sophistication, uniqueness, and traditional value of Chu Dau pottery.

They congratulated Hai Duong and Hanoi Trade Corporation’s Chu Dau Ceramics JSC. on the successful restoration of the precious traditional pottery line and hoped that the province and enterprises would continue to promote, develop, and bring Chu Dau ceramics to all over the world.
The two State leaders also encouraged artisans and workers of the company, tried making ceramics, and signed a Chu Dau ceramic vase together.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is paying an official visit to Vietnam from August 20 - 22.
This is the first visit of a Kazakh President to Vietnam in 12 years, and also the first time Tokayev visits Vietnam in his new position.
