Hot weather continues scorching Hai Duong

Hai Duong will continue to suffer hot weather in the coming days, with temperature reaching 36 degrees Celsius

A western hot depression will develop and expand southeastward on June 19, resulting in variable clouds, baking sun, and southeast winds at level 2 or 3 in Hai Duong province, forecast the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station.

It is likely to be less cloudy at noon and in the afternoon. Temperature will peak at 35 – 36 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave may last until June 22; however, showers and thunderstorms may occur at dusk and night in some areas.

The province is predicted to experience moderate or heavy rain and thunderstorms from June 22 – 25, lowering temperature to 33 – 34 degrees Celsius.

There is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and gusts of winds during thundershowers.
