Half of Hai Duong lychees exported

3,000 tons of Thanh Ha lychees in Hai Duong province have been exported to such fastidious markets as Japan, the US, and Australia, and the rest to China.

More than 32,000 tons of lychees in Hai Duong had been harvested by June 13, according to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

About 16,000 tons were exported to other countries, accounting for half of the harvested lychees, equivalent to the same period last year.

Notably, 3,000 tons of Thanh Ha lychees were shipped to such fastidious markets as Japan, the US, and Australia, and the rest to China.

Authorities at all levels always pay attention to trade promotion for smooth sale of lychees.

A lot of lychee purchasing enterprises have proactively accompanied farmers, such as Ameii Vietnam JSC., Red Dragon Co., Ltd., Fusa Organic Agriculture Co., Ltd., and Hung Viet Company.

2023 is the first year lychees have been served on flights. This is an important event in introducing Thanh Ha lychees to passengers.

Thanh Ha lychee production is estimated at 40,000 tons this year. Their higher quality satisfies export standards of fastidious markets like Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US, and Europe.

It is expected that the province’s exports to these markets will approximate to 6,000 tons, equivalent to 10% of the total production.
