“Several targets on the percentage of laborers eligible for social insurance coverage, the number of new businesses each year... should also be adjusted”, added Dien.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban, presiding officer of the meeting, required objective, truthful, and comprehensive assessment of Hai Duong’s socio-economic development, defense, security, and foreign affairs in the mid-term summing-up.

He ordered the consulting body to evaluate results as well as limitations based on the targets set at the beginning of the term, focusing on bottlenecks which are hindering the general development.

“Each sector must specify what has been done, limitations, solutions, and reasons and grounds for adjustment of targets,” said Ban.
