Chi Linh city is home to Cong Hoa industrial park (IP) and four industrial clusters (IC) with convenient traffic.

The city Party Committee expeditiously directed relevant units to quickly hand grounds over to investors when the IP and ICs were still on paper.

After many years of operation, they have gradually become attractive destinations for many large enterprises.

The occupancy rate of Cong Hoa IP is now 63%, and the ICs, 78.9% on average.

There are 508 active businesses in the city, 114 of which are in the industrial sector, providing jobs for 15,170 laborers.

These are the results of Chi Linh city authorities’ initiative in removing difficulties and obstacles in the locality to create favorable conditions for investors.

Especially, the locality made many breakthroughs in administrative reform, contributing to building trust and high consensus among people and enterprises.

A highlight in the implementation of Chi Linh's industrial development policies is the completion of planning and investment attraction.

There are three regions in the general planning for Chi Linh city until 2040, in which region 3, covering a total area of more than 10,650 ha in the south of national highway 18, will be reserved for new urban areas, commercial services, and high-tech industries.

The city authorities also planned 815 ha of land for three new IPs and 50 other ha for one new IC and publicized an investment attraction list with 50 projects and works in various fields, including four industrial and high-tech projects.

This tenure, Chi Linh city will focus on flexibly making use of resources to develop external traffic in order to better promote the strength of being located in the Hai Duong - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic triangle.

Thanks to these measures, the city has received good news of local industry.

The production value of the city’s industry and construction from 2021 to 2023 is estimated at over 47,697 billion VND, up 9.6%/ year, higher than the target of 8.8%/ year.

The city Party Committee defines the development of high-tech, modern, and supporting industries as one of four pillars of the locality.

Therefore, Chi Linh always attaches special importance to realizing this task with many appropriate measures in its policies, like concentrating on building inter-regional traffic infrastructure, improving the quality of human resources, reforming administration, strictly and effectively managing budget revenues and expenditures, strengthening the protection of security, order, and social safety, etc. to create an open, safe, and favorable environment for investors to choose.
