The People’s Committee of Hai Duong province (PPC) basically agreed with a report of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) on the construction of the provincial concentrated administrative zone, said PPC Standing Vice Chairman Luu Van Ban.

Ban made the conclusion at the PPC’s 3rd May regular meeting on May 23.

The provincial concentrated administrative zone will be the venue of events and meetings at provincial and national levels, meeting the need of welcoming domestic and international guests.

It will also be an architectural highlight, contributing to forming the urban environment and landscape.

A plan for investment in the concentrated administrative zone will be developed with two independent projects, as proposed by the DPI.

Accordingly, there is one project to construct a provincial public administrative center, including offices of the provincial departments, boards, and branches.

The other project aims to build the workplaces of standing members, the Office, and Party boards of the provincial Party Committee, the provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, and exterior technical structures.

Investment will be divided into two phases.

The headquarters of departments, boards, and branches will be constructed in phase 1, from 2024 to 2028.

The remaining items will be built in the 2nd phase after displacement of the departments, boards, and branches to the concentrated administrative zone and auction of the old headquarters.
