The life expectancy of Hai Duong people is 74.9, 1.3 years higher than the national average
Five basic professional norms to evaluate the quality of Hai Duong’s health care were all higher than the national averages by the end of 2022, according to the provincial Department of Health.
Specifically, the ratios of doctors, physicians, and sickbeds to civilians in Hai Duong were 10.8, 3.8, and 31.7 to 10,000, compared to the national rates of 9.4, 3.1, and 29.5 to 10,000, respectively.
99.1% of communes in the province met national medical criteria, higher than the national rate of 96%.
The life expectancy of Hai Duong people was 74.9, 1.3 years higher than the national average.
This was the result of the provincial authorities’ investment in medical development in the past time, such as construction, renovation, and repair of several hospitals, meeting people’s needs for medical examination and treatment.
Medical workers were often sent to training courses to improve their professional qualifications.
