Concurrently fighting against the epidemic and fulfilling the socio-economic goals

On 1st March morning, Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee chaired the online 13th Conference of the Standing Board  of the provincial Party Committee to all district level terminals to consider the Covid-19 epidemic situation from 27th January to the present reported by the Party Personnel Board of the provincial People's Committee, and the proposed solutions for epidemic prevention concurrently with socio-economic development after 2nd March.

The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee agreed to end the 15 days of social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16 from 0:00 on 3rd March, to lift the blockade against Chi Linh City and Cam Giang district, and at the same time, to shift the whole province to a new state of preventing the Covid-19 and concurrently implementing the socio-economic development goals.

From 3rd March, Kim Thanh district, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong city, Kinh Mon town will basically follow Directive No.15 of the Prime Minister. The remaining localities including: Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha, Thanh Mien, Tu Ky and Chi Linh city will basically comply with Directive No.19 of the Prime Minister.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang reiterated the valuable solutions drawn from the province’s epidemic fighting practice and asked the whole province to persistently continue to implement the directions from the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention, supplementing with the practice of the province. The whole province will focus on well implementing the group of solutions as directed by the provincial Party Committee Standing Board, but should speed up to compensate for the time slowed down by the epidemic. All departments, agencies and localities should arrange to work on Saturday, Sunday, even evening time to make up for the time delayed due to the epidemic ...

At noon on 1st March, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee issued a Directive on the leadership to continue fighting the Covid-19 and performing the task of socio-economic development in a new state.

The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee agreed to continue to take drastic measures to completely repel the Covid-19 epidemic in the province; to deeply grasp the viewpoints, principles and guidelines for the Covid-19 prevention under the direction of the Prime Minister "Each citizen is a soldier, each institution and each family is an epidemic fighting fortress"; Each official, party member, public servant must be really exemplary for the people to follow.

All the localities and units in the province must urgently implement the key political tasks in 2021; overcome difficulties to promote socio-economic development; focus on propagating, grasping, implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; speed up the implementation and completion of programs, plans, projects, thematic resolutions and key works in the Action Program No. 02-CTr/TU dated 9th December 2020 in implementing the Resolution the 13th Provincial Party Congress.

Focus on leading, directing and organizing the successful implementation of the election of delegates to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure, ensuring that the election is conducted democratically, equally and legally, safely for the Covid-19 epidemic, economically and really a festival for the people according to Directive No. 51-CT/TU dated 22nd October 2020 of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee.
