Four good pupils to go straight to universities without sitting senior high school graduation exam

Hai Duong province has four pupils, namely Pham Duc Nam Phuong, a 12th grade chemistry pupil; Dao Duy Anh, a 12th grade informatics pupil; Doan Minh Viet, a 12th grade mathematics pupil; and Nguyen Thi Thao, a 12th grade biology pupil, entitled to go straight to universities without sitting the graduation exam.

All of them are pupils of Nguyen Trai Senior High School for Gifted Pupils sitting exams to select national mathematics, chemistry, biology, and informatics teams to attend international Olympiads in 2021.

Among them, Pham Duc Nam Phuong is the sole Hai Duong pupil earning a slot in the team to compete in the 2021 International Chemistry Olympiad.

As announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, 114 other pupils in the country who took national team selection exams to attend 2021 international Olympiads can be directly admitted to universities and colleges without having to sit the senior high school graduation exam in 2021.
