Taxes paid by key businesses up 34.5%

By the end of May, key businesses in Hai Duong province had paid VND1,267 billion in taxes, up 34.5% year on year.

Except for Ha Noi – Hai Duong Beer JSC. with low payment due to the impact of Covid-19, the other enterprises recorded equal or higher payments to the budget compared to the same period.

In which, Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. paid VND534.4 billion, up 19.4%; Vicem Hoang Thach Cement Co., Ltd., VND75.3 billion, an increase of 27.3%; and JAKS-EPC1 Power Contractor, VND284.2 billion, a rise of VND281 billion.

The joint stock companies of Pha Lai Thermal Power and Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel paid VND184.4 billion and VND174.7 billion, respectively, equal to the same period in 2020.

Over the past time, the key enterprises have taken many measures to overcome difficulties caused by the Covid-19 epidemic and promoted the production and sale of safe products towards export.

Especially, Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. put many new car models suiting the taste of consumers on the market, helping to increase sales in the first months of the year.
