Dinh bridge construction finishes

The construction of Dinh bridge across the Kinh Thay river to connect Hai Phong's Thuy Nguyen district and Hai Duong's Kinh Mon provincial town and its approaches has been completed, according to Do Tuan Anh, Director-general of the Management Board of Traffic Work Investment and Construction Projects of Hai Phong city.

On June 18 and 19, the Ministry of Transport inspected the acceptance of the project.

On July 2, the ministry's Transport Engineering Construction and Quality Management Bureau issued a written approval of the investor's acceptance result for commissioning.

Due to the impact of Covid-19, the inauguration of Dinh bridge was delayed compared to the previous plan.

The Management Board of Traffic Work Investment and Construction Projects of Hai Phong city has reported to the city People's Committee to decide on the date and scale of the inauguration ceremony of Dinh bridge.

A total investment of more than VND269.4 billion in Dinh bridge was taken from the Central budget and those of Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province.

The construction of the bridge, more than 369 m long and 12 m wide with seven spans, began on May 16, 2020.

The joint stock companies of Bridge Construction 75 and Investment and Construction No. 18 are the constructors.

The use of Dinh bridge and its approaches will contribute to forming an inter-regional traffic connection system, meeting the needs for travel and transport, promoting socio-economic development and cultural exchanges between Thuy Nguyen district and Kinh Mon provincial town in particular and Hai Phong and Hai Duong in general...
