In the 4th phase, the Ministry of Health is expected to allocate 55,380 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Hai Duong.

Hai Duong authorities have targeted that at least 50% of people aged 18 and over will be vaccinated against Covid-19 in 2021 and more than 70% of the population will have been immunized by the end of the 1st quarter of 2022.

In the 4th phase, the Ministry of Health is expected to allocate 55,380 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Hai Duong, including 7,020 doses of Pfizer's Comirnaty vaccine, 45,360 doses of Moderna's Spikevax vaccine (including 1,680 doses to be directly allocated to Hai Duong Medical Technical University), and 3,000 doses of China's Sinopharm vaccine.

According to a representative of the Department of Health, among more than 2,000 Chinese citizens in the province wishing to be vaccinated against Covid-19 jointly reviewed by the department, it is estimated that only 1,500 people are eligible for vaccination. Thus, the 3,000 vaccine doses made by China are only enough for the qualified people with two shots for each of them.
