Chi Linh city has 16 export longan area codes, according to the Sub-department of Cultivation and Plant Protection.
Eight codes qualify for export to the US, Australia, New Zealand, etc. with an area of more than 40 ha. Eight codes are for export to China with an area of 144 ha.
To be granted codes, longan cultivation areas in Chi Linh city must ensure cultivation under VietGAP standard, strictly follow the production process, etc.
There are 740 ha of longan in Chi Linh city with an estimated yield of 4,000 tons.
