Hai Duong teacher wins first prize at 5th National Teachers’ Singing Festival

Nguyen Thi Hue, a teacher of An Thuong Primary School in Hai Duong city wins first prize at the 5th National Teachers’ Singing Festival with the song Nha Em O Lung Doi

In addition, Luong Thi Nu, a teacher of Gia Hoa Primary School in Gia Loc district, grabbed second prize at the festival with the song Dat Nuoc Loi Ru (The Country's Lullaby) by composer Van Thanh Nho.

The National Teachers’ Singing Festival is held every five years by the Ministry of Education and Training’s National Education Union of Vietnam.

This year, because of complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, each unit selected two typical teachers to video and send their singing performances to the organizers from April 15 to May 25.

The performances praised the Party and Uncle Ho, showed love for the native land and country, honored the teaching profession and teachers, etc.

On August 11, the National Education Union of Vietnam announced the prize winners with 11 first prizes, 21 second prizes, 29 third prizes, and awards for three entries most voted on the fanpage of the union.
