The program of the opening ceremony was developed based on the idea of using the most modern lighting effects (mapping), highlighting the theme of the 31st SEA Games in Hai Duong: "Hai Duong aspires to rise".

Hai Duong is a civilized, prosperous, strong, and developing province with strong sport movements, especially table tennis. Visitors to Hai Duong will meet friendly and hospitable people.

The song “Hello Vietnam” by Marc Lavoine is performed by singer My Dung and backup dancers on Kiep Bac temple background


The song “Let’s shine” by Huy Tuan is performed by singer Hoang Hai and backup dancers on the mapping background of Kiep Bac temple


At the same time, the opening ceremony is broadcast live on a LED screen at the square of the Xu Dong Cultural Center with a large number of spectators
