Creating a Zalo connection group, establishing a problem-solving team, publicizing phone numbers, etc. are specific efforts of the Hai Duong Customs Branch that have been acknowledged by the business community

Applying information technology, establishing a problem-solving team, connecting the business community through social networking sites, etc. are specific efforts of the Hai Duong Customs Branch to better serve businesses.

One of specific innovations of the Hai Duong Customs Branch to better serve the business community is the establishment of a Zalo connection group.

“The Zalo group was set up in October 2020 for business connection and has so far had 1,000 members, including some customs officials and the import-export business community in the province,” said Dinh Xuan Vinh, deputy director of the branch.

Through the connection group, dozens of messages sent each day about obstacles related to customs procedures and problems commonly arising in business operations in general and import-export processes in particular are assisted and handled.

According to Tran Ngoc Giao, an employee of the Import-Export Department of ANT Vina Co., Ltd., headquartered in Thanh Binh ward, Hai Duong city, the connection group not only receives information and handles obstacles but also creates a connection environment for businesses.

Thanks to specific support, many batches of businesses are cleared in time, helping them avoid unnecessary damage

Because the maximal membership of a Zalo group is 1,000, the Hai Duong Customs Branch has taken full advantage of other social networking sites to better serve enterprises, like establishing an import-export group on Facebook, creating directions and contact information on Google search, etc.

In early November 2021, the branch set up the problem-solving team and publicized the positions and phone numbers of all eight members.

All obstacles of businesses related to customs and e-declaration are promptly solved.

In the digital environment, in 2020, the Hai Duong Customs Branch studied, developed, and deployed a management system for outsourcing, export production, and export processing with many digitized operations.

At a recent customs-business dialogue, Director of the Hai Duong Customs Branch Vu Quoc Duong stressed that the specific solutions and efforts over the past time were an affirmation for the business community on the transition from a management mindset to a service one.
