The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province held a ceremony to offer incense and flowers and report achievements to Uncle Ho, inaugurated and handed over a "Garden of gratitude to Uncle Ho" to the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection High Command at President Ho Chi Minh-related Da Chong (K9) relic site in Ba Vi district, Ha Noi, on August 16 morning.

This garden of lychee, a specialty of Thanh Ha, covers an area of about 3,000 m2 next to a lake in area B of K9 relic site with approaches convenient for care and sightseeing.
The planting of the "Garden of gratitude to Uncle Ho" is an important event in a series of activities of the Party, authorities, and people of Hai Duong to mark the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's 4th visit to the province (July 26, 1962 – 2022).

As soon as being tasked by the provincial authorities, Thanh Ha district authorities urgently coordinated to take lychee trees there for planting right at the beginning of August.
Within one day of August 9, 60 early and 60 main-crop lychee trees were planted. 60 lychee trees of each type represent 60 years, the duration after Uncle Ho's visit to Hai Duong.
Delegates take care of a newly-planted lychee tree
To ensure good growth and development of the lychee garden, the provincial authorities assigned Thanh Ha district authorities to take care of the garden for five years (2022 – 2027), work out a process, and guide the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection High Command on lychee care.
Earlier, the Hai Duong delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum, visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection High Command at its headquarters in Dong Da district and K9.
